Virgil Abloh’s penchant for creation is unparalleled. His abstract designs and questioning tone of branding has made his label Off-White a force to be reckoned with both in streetwear and high-fashion circles. After teaming up with Nike last year on a ten-part footwear collection. the Off-White designer has gone back to the drawing board for round two. As The Ten: Part Two begins to arrive at retailers this week with a new blacked-out Off-White x Nike Vapormax. a new colorway of the duo’s Blazer Studio Mid has appeared online. Decked out in a black upper. the new colorway features the same details as the original. though with an inverted color scheme. meaning the laces and abnormally large Swoosh are done in white for this pair. In recent photos of the release pair. we can see that the medial sidewall is made from the same translucent material seen on other Off-White x Nike sneakers. This is an exciting development for the Off-White Blazer. meaning the shoe will have a more colorful look with the right socks. In addition to the recent photos. Virgil Abloh has also taken to Instagram to confirm the upcoming release of this colorway. along with aptly naming it the “Grim Reaper” colorway.
